Flat Silicone Rubber Sheet Stock
Our stock sheets are made in a wide range of sizes, compounds, durometers (hardness) and silicone thicknesses. Sheets can be bonded to aluminum or steel in many different metal backing and silicone thicknesses. Thin silicone rubber bonded to dead soft aluminum can be formed to fit contoured parts. Hard aluminum is easy to cut, drill, tap and fabricate into end effectors. Our silicone stands up well in UV environments. Sheets can be fabricated into gripper fingers, heat sealing dies and support fixtures.
Standard available sizes and options:
- Thicknesses of silicone: 1/16”, 1/8”, 1/4” 3/8”, 1/2”
- Thicknesses of aluminum: 1/16” dead soft aluminum; 1/16”, 1/8”, 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2” hard aluminum
- Sheet sizes : 6×6, 6×12, 12×12, 12×24 (in.)
- Durometer (see chart below)
